Carrie Vaughn's Low Midnight spins out of the series on the wave of popularity surrounding Kitty’s most popular supporting character, Cormac Bennett, a two-minded assassin of the paranormal who specializes in killing lycanthropes. In his first solo adventure, Cormac, struggling with a foreign consciousness trapped inside him, investigates a century-old crime in a Colorado mining town which could be the key to translating a mysterious coded diary…a tome with secrets that could shatter Kitty’s world and all who inhabit it. With a framing sequence that features Kitty Norville herself, Low Midnight not only pushes the Kitty saga forward, but also illuminates Cormac’s past and lays the groundwork for Kitty's future.

Disclaimer: I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review. No other compensation was offered nor would it have been accepted. The following is my honest review:
I've been sitting on this review for at least a month now, waiting for this blog tour. And even now, I'm not quite sure how to begin. What do I tell you about this book?! Okay, one...it's Cormac's novel. Kitty and Ben are there, but this is Cormac's novel, from his POV, sharing completely with Amelia, we get glimpses of Amelia's past and, of course, Cormac's. This is seriously the novel that fans have been waiting for because it is ALL Cormac.
If you're a Kitty Norville fan, then you know who Cormac is and have been waiting for him to have a book. It's fabulous and strengthens the groundwork for future novels. I'm envisioning more Kitty & Ben, more Cormac novels, all within the same series! Heck, from this, we could have a pure Amelia novel, too, up til when she jumped into Cormac!
I give five stars as it kept me glued, was from the POV of a character who has been a supporting character so far and really held my attention as he was the main character of this book, and hello...it's Carrie Vaughn!
