J. A. Huss likes to write new adult books that make you think and keep you guessing. Her favorite genre to read is space opera, but since practically no one reads those books, she writes new adult science fiction, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and books about Junco (who refuses to be saddled with a label).
She has an undergraduate degree in horses, (yes, really–Thank you, Colorado State University) and a master’s degree in forensic toxicology from the University of Florida. She used to have a job driving around Colorado doing pretty much nothing but shooting the breeze with farmers, but now she just writes, runs the New Adult Addiction and Clean Teen Reads Book Blogs, and runs an online science classroom for homeschoolers.

Let's start off with the fact that I've been trying to pre-order this book at least six times, always forgetting I've already pre-ordered. So now it's here and I'm golden!
Where to start? I love the development Grace & Vaughn's relationship is taking. I love that he likes it rough, but adores the intimacy with Grace, the soft touches, the little things. I love how protective he is of her despite her swings. And to be honest...I dislike Grace. She annoys the hell out of me. Even knowing more about her background, she still annoys me. But I'm pro-Grace&Vaughn. I want them together because they have that click. It's not easy to read about a couple who don't seem to have that click, but these two do.
We all knew this cliffy was coming. We did. We knew it had to. I had an inkling of what to expect and I'm surprised it took Vaughn so long to admit it to Grace. But then that cliffhanger. Oh. Em. Gee. Again, you KNEW it was coming, but you can't really accept or prepare for something like that.
So now I wait. And wait for PROFILE which is out in two weeks on the 22nd. Two, small, short weeks. Right? Right. I'll keep telling myself this.
