This is one novella that starts off with a bang and keeps the tension high. When I got to the end, I let out a loud groan of complaint that it was over. HOW COULD THIS BE THE END? I JUST STARTED! Those fifty or so pages flew by and kept me enthralled. A princess who stands out from her 11 sisters, the only one who seems not to have had the love squelched out of her in the cruel kingdom of her father. As she watches the birthday celebration of the only son, her five year old brother, and mourns the loss of his goodness already, she makes plans to live and escape...
