This was a quick, fun read with palpable sexual tension between Hannah and Jack. Sexual tension that is never realized with a cliffhanger ending! *gasps*
Hannah is a spoiled little rich girl whom you assume is slumming out of punishment. There is no indication that this isn't the case until later in the book, as Hannah keeps waiting for Daddy to come rescue her.
Jack Colt is the lead singer to a band called STORM...a band that hasn't broken onto the main scene and yet he acts as if is already a jaded, rich as hell, rock star, tearing through women, treating them callously, drinking up a storm, etc.
Just as you think Hannah is about to learn to survive on her own, her father comes crashing back into her life and not in a good way. Just as you think Jack and Hannah have something going on, Hannah overhears a conversation that totally smashes her. And then...you're left with no answers, no resolution, nothing as the cliffhanger is dropped on you. /sadface Looks like we'll have to wait to see if Hannah's dad redeems himself, if Jack redeems himself, and if Hannah finds her feet!

Candy has filmed and interviewed some big names in the rock business, and a lot of small ones. She’s seen the dirty little secrets that go on in the back rooms of band venues. She’s seen the ugly side of rock and the very pretty one.
But, of course, everything she writes is fiction.
