She falls asleep reading Darcy’s letter to Lizzy and awakens to find herself in an unfamiliar place that looks and sounds suspiciously like her favorite book. Has she somehow been transported into Pride and Prejudice, or is it just a dream?
As Kelsey tries to discover what’s happening to her, she must also discover her own heart. Is Mark Barnes destined to be her Mr. Darcy? In the end, she must decide whether attempting to become Elizabeth is worth the risk or if being Kelsey Edmundson is enough.

This was another cute Pride and Prejudice -based novel. Who hasn't imagined about escaping the real world and into the perfect life in a fictional paradise with a Mr Perfect, never having to worry about money and earning or struggling to pay the bills? (Okay, there were monetary concerns etc in P&P and Mr Darcy did have his flaws, but still! :P ) After a breakup, Kelsey finds herself imagining life as Elizabeth Bennett, witty and perfect, and Mr Darcy, of course.
Then she meets Mark. Amazing athletic build, sexy accent, and intelligent to boot, Kelsey finds herself constantly fumbling around him. When she wakes up to find herself in what can only be the book's setting, she suspects it's just a dream, but is still a bit muddled. Convinced she can only be happy in her fantasies, she continues with her dreaming jumps and lands as the Elizabeth Bennett in the period complete with her Mr Darcy. There in the world of fiction, Kelsey leads the life as Elizabeth - just as it's written in Pride and Prejudice, complete with conversations,e tc. However as the time passes, she begins to think more and more about Mark in the real world and the things he's shared with her over their brief encounters. As those emotions magnify, she is somehow able to pull Mark into her world of dreaming, with him as Mr Darcy.
Very cute, well paced, and smooth flowing prose, this was a fun book to read.
