Akabe of Siphra is certain his people are insane.
Why have they made him a king?
What, in the name of peacetime boredom do kings do?
Frustrated by a lengthy silence from his Creator, the Infinite, Akabe decides to prove himself as king by undertaking a monumental task, his own lifelong dream: Rebuild the Infinite’s temple in Siphra.
But Akabe’s impulsive decision sweeps him into a storm of controversy. The Infinite’s enemies join forces in Siphra, and beyond, conspiring to destroy the emerging temple—and to kill their king and his mysterious new queen.
GUEST POST
What’s next after King and the Books of the Infinite series?
Does the Books of the Infinite series truly end with King? Perhaps. Or perhaps not. As I wait for publishing decisions concerning additional books, I’ve been busy writing for my own amusement and, hopefully, yours.
Writing what?
SO glad you asked! The answer is spin-offs!
Our fantasy map is now complete, with the exception of the western mountains, which shelter the Agocii tribes, and the Eosyth clans. Readers of Judge will remember the Agocii and Eosyth clans as allies of Belaal during the siege of Parne.
These two tribes will close the map’s circle in two spin-offs now underway in my imagination and in my computer. Working titles:
1. Exiles~~inspirational fiction in a fantasy realm, inspired by the book of Daniel, with several unexpected twists. Two of Exiles’ main characters have already appeared in King. One is Bel-Tygeon, the god-king of Belaal. The second is this young lady—currently named Araine.
2. Queen~~inspirational fiction in a fantasy realm, inspired by the book of Esther. Yes, Esther. Also with a few twists, of course! Here’s a partial glimpse of the main character, currently named Serena.
Naturally, both stories will feature plenty of action and humor with (possibly) a few cameo appearances by Ela, Kien, and…*cough!*…a destroyer warhorse named Pet.
Blessings, dear readers, and thank you for visiting!
