Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I was so excited to have the chance to read this sequel to Butterman Time Travel Inc as I really really enjoyed the first book. I thought it fresh and exciting and something different from my normal reading.
We are back to Alaska and Tristan & Bianca in this sequel and Bee is learning to deal with Tristan's fame and all that comes associated with it. All of this media attention etc right on the verge of her Induction Day. And Agent Garth is back...to make things hell.
I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did the previous one, but it's no fault of the book itself. Hrezo has written her characters so well that my dislike for them was so intense that it was hard for me to continue reading because I couldn't stand them. Bee's parents annoyed me, Tristan pissed me off, Agent Garth, of course, was her horrid self. And I wanted to smack Bee as well, especially in the beginning, for being such...a teenager. LOL But again, I must stress, that the book is well done; this is definitely one of those subjective things and I was not in the right frame of mind to be able to ignore my dislike!
The twist at the end, what is revealed, was a surprise to me and not one that I had thought of before. I'm looking forward to the next book to see how the Garth v Butterman thing works out!
