{Author Spotlight} Rosemary Clair

Hello my lovely readers! As you may or may not know, January marks the end of the first year of book blogging for me. To celebrate I am throwing a Facebook party at the end of the month on the 29th and you are ALL invited! There are prizes to be won, games to play, and fun to be had, all while in your jammies if you like! :) I've connected with some amazing bloggers, readers, and authors over the past year! Today, I'd like to spotlight one of the authors donating a prize to my readers for my blog's birthday!

Today's Spotlight is shining on ROSEMARY CLAIR!

Sidhe [shee] noun

In Irish legend, a superhuman race descended from the goddess Danu. Comparable to medieval fairies or elves. Beautiful, powerful and merciless to humans who get in their way.

After graduating high school, American teen Faye Kent is spending a magical summer in Ireland with relatives. The summer promises her everything her old life didn’t, including a chance at love with the impossibly perfect Dayne DeLaney. But Faye is hiding a secret, a secret she came to Ireland to forget.

The mystical Irish countryside also hides a secret, a slumbering evil that awakens and quickly fixates on Faye.

The locals warn Faye to heed their cautionary tales of the beautiful, but deadly, creatures that once ruled this mystical land. They avoid the Sidhe at all costs. But Faye laughs at their superstitious ways, breaking every rule that could have protected her.

She should have listened. The Sidhe now hunt Faye, and she faces a fight that will expose the secret she desperately wants to keep hidden and uncover a mystery even deeper than she could have imagined.

Soon the world will know the truth about who Faye Kent really is. Will she sacrifice herself to save everything she loves?

Rosemary Clair holds her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia. After college, she worked in medical sales for several years before turning to writing full time.

While honeymooning in Ireland, she was first introduced to the mysterious land and superstitious ways of the locals. Both intrigued her immediately. Back on American soil, she began researching Irish myths, the lore and fables passed down through generations, and the idea for Heir of Earth began to take shape.

Writing is definitely a labor of love for Rosemary. While typing away on her latest project occupies most of her day, when the sun is shining, the outdoors call to her. On those beautiful, southern afternoons she sneaks away to the barn to get a little inspiration from her beloved horse, Asscher.

Rosemary lives in Athens, Georgia with her husband and one very pampered pooch.

I really hope you can make it to the FB party. The author prizes are only available that night at the party, but the grand prizes are open for entries throughout the month! In case you can't, here's the rafflecopter for the grand prize giveaway! Those attending the party will get a few extra entries, but all you have to do to be eligible is to like my FB page. :)
